Day 024: Got two free tickets to the Warriors game, a little over an hour before the game started; lower level seats where I can actually catch shirts and free pizza haha.

Day 022: What a pleasant surprise! After nearly two years later, I finally run into my eldest retreatant from Epiphany’s T.H.I.S. (Through Him I Surrender) retreat. He was the only legal one the home group I led with Lyshelle (Soldiers on a Quest) at the time and we joked how us three (Lyshelle, Fredo, and I) were going to the club after we take the other kids for Chuck E Cheeses. Great reunion for 2011 :)

Day 021: I finally got my first check worth $240 but came down to $199 after taxes. Ain’t hatin! This was from two weeks of training and and doing the real thing. Yee.
Today at work, my manager told me to follow him to the back where people clock in. Of course, being human, I thought I was in trouble. All he did was point to the message board next to the clock in machine and told me to read: it was a printed out email from the SF State nursing students who I facilitated the night before. My manager said he was very proud of me and said this was exactly what he expected. He said this hasn’t happened even with the two previous hostess. This email showed and confirmed that I was doing my job. At end of the night, he gave me a Serra Bowl shirt for my ‘good work’. Chiilll.

Day 018: Alawi, a former teacher’s aid for Skyline College’s Kababayan Program, finally received my Christmas letter! I thought it would never have reached her.

Day 017: I had a rough day and I needed to breathe for a moment. Some last minute outing to meet new people and create bizarre memories with the old. This was my 7th day in a row at Serra Bowl and I’m not the least bit sick of it. Today was different since I was actually bowling for the first time here at Serra in years. We arrived before 11PM and stayed until 4AM (in the parking lot since Serra Bowl closed at 2AM). With good company, you can have fun pretty much anywhere at anytime.

Day 016: (I’m posting a photo that I took a few minutes when the 16th started.. so this was past midnight at work) The reason why I post photos late lately is because I’ve been working at night. Sorry folks. I enjoy my job so far. My fellow followers, help brotha out and find Serra Bowl on Facebook and “like” us. This determines how well I’m doing my job, and I get checked every week O_O;
